Our story
Why we built CertNow.
In 2023 our founder, a small portfolio landlord in Manchester, spent an entire weekend chasing four engineers for three annual certs across six properties. Two engineers didn't show. One forgot to upload the PDF. The fourth never replied.
We built CertNow because UK rental compliance is a legal obligation — and it shouldn't take a weekend, a spreadsheet, and six follow-up texts to get right.
Today, CertNow serves thousands of UK landlords, property managers and engineers. Every cert booked is tracked, stored and renewed automatically. Every engineer is verified and paid weekly. Every tenant has a way to confirm access without handing over a phone number.
